Log File Locations


When experiencing problems that may occur while playing the game, we very much recommend players to attach log files along with their bug reports. This helps the developers and the game’s development process quickly.

These are the file paths to obtain log files:

Windows: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\Dinosaur Polo Club\Mini Metro\output_log.txt
Windows (for older versions of Mini Metro): C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MiniMetro\MiniMetro_Data\output_log.txt (or wherever you have the game installed)
Mac OS X: ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Dinosaur Polo Club/Mini Metro/Player.log

For those that use a 32-bit Windows installation, replace Program Files (x86) with Program Files.

For Windows users using the DRM free version of the game, go to the folder where you have saved Mini Metro, and open <MiniMetro folder>\MiniMetro_Data\output_log.txt.

For Windows users that have installed the game in a different location using Steam, the easiest way to get to your files is to right-click the game in your Steam library, click Properties, Local Files, Browse Local Files…, and open MiniMetro_Data\output_log.txt from the folder that appears.
