Ability to run the game in windowed mode (so it doesn’t minimize on alt-tab) but at the same time being fullscreen so you can multitask would be great. Some games that doesn’t have this mode have workarounds: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Glossary:Borderless_fullscreen_windowed but Mini Metro don’t look happy when you change window size in-game and becomes unplayable.
Oh it actually works if I add -popupwindow in launch options! Still, a tick or a select box on a launch screen would be preferable. ^^
Very useful. Thanks for this
Starting from Unity 5.3.4f1, you have this improvement:
- Windows: Added a new command line argument for standalone builds: -window-mode. Options: borderless, exclusive. It lets users override the default fullscreen window behavior.
Hey, unfortunately right now we’re on Unity 4 - we have plans to move to Unity 5 (it’s all working on another branch) but that will mean retiring support for OSX 10.6. Currently we have a handful of users on 10.6 so we will likely leave the last working Unity 4 build on a branch in Steam after the Unity 5 move.
